Submit a Proposal

The AOE Gallery is accepting exhibit proposals until September 20th, 2011.

AOE is pleased to extend the opportunity to exhibit works of art in our office space to our individual members as well as to our group members.

Exhibits are for intervals of 2 months, starting in February 2012.
The space can easily accommodate 30 medium-size (ex. 24’’ x 24’’), two dimensional works of art and 4 large
(ex. 4’ X 6’) pieces.

The space can accommodate sculptures however sculptors are encouraged to apply with another artist presenting two-dimensional work.

We encourage individuals and groups of artists who are members of AOE to submit a proposal, which must include:

• Exhibit description with title
• Artist statement
• Biography or group description (one page maximum)
• 10 to 20 images (jpg format) of art which will be part of the exhibit
• Clear description of what you would like to exhibit in the AOE reception area, which includes 2 large walls

Criteria for selection are: appropriate use of medium, consistent style or theme, knowledge of the elements and principles of art, and originality.

All work is clearly identified next to the piece and a price list is kept at the front desk.
The AOE Arts Council reserves the right to collect a 15% commission on sales.
