Angela has returned to Ottawa after spending about 10 years abroad, firstly in London, UK and finally in Washington DC. Verlaeckt Clark has been a sculptor since the 70’s, firstly in clay, then stone; while in the USA she added fused glass artist to her accomplishments. Verlaeckt Clark worked under the tutelage of a master carver in Italy and exhibited, both with, prestigious art societies and in numerous London Art Galleries. Angela was admitted to the Library and Archives of the National Gallery of Canada in 2003. Verlaeckt Clark’s abstract sculptures are Zen in feeling, reflecting a personal interpretation of earth’s rhythms. Her fused glass ‘Art’ jewellery, hangings and, now fused glass sculpture, combined with stainless steel is a testament to the colourful, exuberant side of her personality.
Alejandro lives in Stittsville, Ontario and has been woodturning since 2008. However, his passion for crafts started when he was just eight years old and started embossing using brass and copper sheets, and learning wood working as well. Treasures from the Ark is a small business where he does woodturning in general, creating hand crafted pens made in fine exotic woods and acrylics. He also does bowls, platters, boxes and other decorations, which you can see for yourself at www.TreasuresFromTheArk.com.

Michel Luc Bellemare or simply "Michel" in the artworld. The work revolves around color and pure abstraction painting, i.e. the limits of painting and what pure abstraction art is. My artwork is housed in the national gallery of canada, the art gallery of ontario, the national arts center, the national library of canada, the art gallery of winnepeg and the canadian museum of civilization. I hold a Ph.D. in philosophy specilizing in visual arts, along with an M.A. and B.A. in cultural studies. I am of french metis aboriginal descent and I am a professional abstract artist on a full time basis. According to my philosophy of color and art, "color is as real as reality gets" and pure abstraction painting is at the limits of art, there is nothing more abstract and sublime then pure abstraction painting. My aim via pure abstraction painting is to revolutionize the way people see, think and interprete pure abstraction art. There is nothing more objective and of the world as pure abstraction painting. Pure abstraction painting is realism par excellence. Hence why have labeled my philosophy and style of pure abstraction painting as color-realism. As "color is as real as reality gets. Color is the language of human emotions, and color is the basic element that allows us as human beings to think and to house concepts in our minds. We cannot think of a square without color in our minds. it is impossible to think of a colorless square with our minds. As a result of this fact, color is the structure of our basic concepts". And pure abstraction painting is the means of communicating with this transcendental structure. Pure abstraction painting is the fundamental means of influencing the collective unconscious.

I design and make jewellery using Swarovski crystals and pearls, semi-precious gems, minerals, and fresh water pearls. My collection includes necklaces, earrings, bracelets, anklets, tiaras, rings, and eye glass cords. I see clients in my home studio, offer free consultations, and design and make custom orders to suit my client's budget and design requirements. In 2008, I began to paint, using acrylic paint on canvas. My paintings are abstract in design. I am a member of the Ottawa Artisans Guild, the Cumberland Arts and Crafts Guild, and Arts Ottawa East. My work can be seen at my home studio (appointment required), and at the Guilds' Crafts Markets, held in November/December at local high schools.

Elsa Black’s love of painting served as a wonderful diversion from some of the challenges of working in the health care system. Now retired, photography and art had remained top among many activities while raising a family of four children.
